We are only a few miles from Burnsall and Appletreewick which is becoming very popular for wedding venues such as atThe Red Lion and The Devonshire Fell at Burnsall and The Cruck Barn at Appletreewick www.craven-cruckbarn.co.uk. We can happily accommodate wedding guests.

| Rokeby is situated on the Dalesway but there are also many other numerous walks in the area.There are nice leasurely walks by the river or walk some of the surrounding fells where there are spectacular views. |

| The nearby River Wharfe where you can simply have a relaxing walk. Have a picnic or get a day ticket for fishing which are available at the Grassington Post Office. |
| Nearby Linton is an outstanding pretty dales village where this famous packhorse bridge is on the village green. Linton beck flows through the village green which can be crossed by one of three different bridges ( a clapper bridge, a packhorse bridge and a road bridge. Dominating the village is the Fountaine hospital founded in 1721 by the will of Richard Fountaine to provide almshouses for the poor of the parish. Fountaine made his fortune in london as a coffin maker during the Great Plague. |
| Grassington square where you will find an array of shops, restaurants, tearooms including a vegetarian tearoom and public houses. The third sunday in every month there is a farmers market in the square selling a variety of fresh produce. During the Grassington festival the square becomes alive as one of main focus points for the street entertainers. The square is within easy walking distance of Rokeby approx 200 yards. |

There are many local attractions close by such as Stump Cross Caverns, Hawes wensleydale cheese factory, Skipton castle, Embsay steam railway, White scar caves, and the famous three peaks. |
